P.B. Scaffold Design Ltd was established 8 years ago and
has gone from strength to strength ever since.

Our Design Team consists of 3 Senior Design Engineers and
1 Trainee Engineer with over 40 years combined experience in the
scaffolding industry, who carry out intelligent, cost
effective design solutions, that fully comply with all relevant
statutory regulations, industry codes of practice and CDM regulations.

The Team:

Phil Barber - Managing Director / Senior Design Engineer

After spending over 20years working as an Engineer for 2 of the UK's leading scaffold companies, (where he spent over 5 years sitting on the NASC Technical Committee) Phil decided to set up his own consultancy. Since then Phil has built up PB Scaffold Design to become one of the leading scaffold design consultancies in the UK.

Richard Park - Senior Design Engineer

Richard joined us in August 2009 after spending 14 years designing scaffolding for 2 of the UK's largest scaffold companies, where he sat on the NASC Technical Committee. Richard has recently been awarded the status of 'Incorporated Engineer' (I eng) by the Engineering Council

Mark Rooney - Senior Design Engineer

Mark Rooney joined us in June 2010 and brings with him over 15 years of experience working in mechanical engineering. Mark has spent the last 6years carrying out scaffold designs for one of the world's largest scaffolding companies.

Dean O'Brien - Trainee Design Engineer

Dean joined our team in 2009 from a background in sales, Graphic Design and the scaffold industry. He is currently studying the HNC in Civil Engineering with a view to achieving full Engineer status in the near future.
